Aspermont Masonic Lodge #1382 A.F. & A.M. Scholarship

This scholarship requires your high school transcript, two letters of recommendation,  and a short essay.  See Mrs. Myers for application.

Family, Career & Community Leaders of America, Texas Association Scholarship

Applicants who meet Texas Association, Family, Career & Community Leaders of America membership requirements may apply.  There are standard requirements set for all FCCLA scholarships as well as individual requirements specific to each scholarship.

TXDOT Conditional Grant Program

The Conditional Grant Program is available to eligible students pursuing a degree in civil engineering or a department approved operational business discipline. The Conditional Grant Program will consider both Texas public and private four-year institutions.

Students accepted into the program receive up to $3,000 per semester or $6,000 per academic year, based on financial need.

Big Country Athletic Hall of Fame Scholarship

The Big Country Athletic Hall of Fame began as the AISD Hall of Fame in 1988. The AISD Hall of Fame inducted 10 inaugural members, but was disbanded after two years. Then, in 2002, the Big Country Athletic Hall of Fame began as an effort to honor the outstanding high school athletes and coaches from a nineteen-county area surrounding Abilene. With the blessing of the AISD, the original 10 members of the AISD were included in the new Big Country Hall of Fame.

Eligibility

  • Must be a graduating senior who attended high school in one of the 19 counties listed (Knox, Kent, Stonewall, Haskell, Throckmorton, Scurry, Fisher, Jones, Shackelford, Stephens, Mitchell, Nolan, Taylor, Callahan, Eastland, Runnels, Coleman, Brown, Comanche)
  • Be in the top 25 percent of your graduating class
  • Must have participated as an athlete in varsity high school athletics
  • Applicant must have been enrolled in the high school for three years (including senior year).

 “Sweet and Simple” Scholarship
Requirements:  Be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia · Be currently enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2022) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education · Submit an online short written response (250 words or less) for the question: “Not every gift has to be expensive or extravagant. In fact, sometimes it’s the sweet and simple things that make a real difference in our lives. Think back and tell us about something you received as a gift and why it meant so much to you.”

Becas Univision Scholarship Program

Requirements:  · Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) · Be of Hispanic heritage · Must be 1st Generation to attend college · Demonstrate financial need. This is determined based on your family income, number of people that reside in your household and the number of college students in your home · Describe a recent academic challenge you have faced. American Fire Sprinkler Association Scholarship Program
