    The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is an achievement based program. Various levels of scholarships, from $1,000 to $20,000 are awarded annually to graduating high school seniors who have been recognized for their leadership and service to their community, while maintaining a minimum 3.0 GPA.     Most Valuable Student Scholarship AwardThe Elks National Foundation awards 500 competitive, four-year scholarships ranging from $1,000/year to $12,500/year.  Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership and financial need.  Any high school senior who is a citizen of the United States is eligible to apply.  Applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks.  Applications are available online only, by September 1.     The Stokes Educational Scholarship Program facilitates the recruitment of individuals (high school seniors majoring in computer science    or computer/electrical engineering), particularly minority students, who have demonstrated skills critical to the National Security Agency (NSA).  As an NSA employee with the Stokes Program, you will attend college full time, receive up to $30,000 per year for tuition and mandatory fees and a year round salary.  You will work at NSA for 12 weeks during the summer in areas related to your course of study.  If selected as a Program participant, you are required to work for NSA in area of study, following graduation for at least one-and-one-half times your length of study.  Cost of tuition must be reimbursed to government if employment is terminated prior to fulfillment.     Scholarship demonstrates to young asthma sufferers that the condition, when properly treated and managed, need not affect their ability to excel. Two applicants from each category will be selected.

    2017 National Space Club ScholarshipSince 2013, The National Space Club and Foundation has offered the opportunity for a student to give the keynote address at the National Space Club and Foundation's annual Goddard Memorial Dinner, one of the space industry's most prestigious gatherings. The student must intend to pursue a career in the Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) fields, be academically strong and excel in public speaking.

    In addition to speaking at the Goddard Memorial Dinner, the individual selected will also receive a scholarship, in the amount of $10,000. This scholarship is awarded to a U.S. citizen, and is open to seniors in High School through graduate students studying at an accredited educational institution in the United States, who has definite plans to pursue a career in the STEM fields.

    Caffarelli ScholarshipRocco C. Caffarelli established this scholarship in order to provide educational opportunities for young men residing in Texas who plan to attend a Texas college and earn a bachelor’s degree.     Big Country Athletic Hall of Fame ScholarshipThe Big Country Athletic Hall of Fame began as the AISD Hall of Fame in 1988. The AISD Hall of Fame inducted 10 inaugural members, but was disbanded after two years. Then, in 2002, the Big Country Athletic Hall of Fame began as an effort to honor the outstanding high school athletes and coaches from a nineteen-county area surrounding Abilene. With the blessing of the AISD, the original 10 members of the AISD were included in the new Big Country Hall of Fame.

  • Action Playmaker Scholarship The PlayMaker Action Sports Medicine Scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance for High School graduates who are legal residents of Texas and are in need of financial aid in order to pursue post high school education. You need not be planning to attend a college or university as the scholarship is also open to those who will be attending a technical/trade school, commercial college, community/junior college or the like.     JG Digital Market The goal of this scholarship is to provide a low barrier scholarship that is simply to help a student obtain their educational goals. 
    This scholarship is available for anyone who is attending college next fall. This applies to both community college and university-bound students. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required along with a 300-500 word essay (topic found on our website). All applicants must submit by April 30th.
